About Us

Founded in 1980 by Ann Bagnell and Sophie Socha, Rock Hill specializes in developing popular reference, general nonfiction, and innovative special editions for reference, scholarly, and online publishers.

We created the WEB FEET™ Guides brand in 1995 under our own imprint, providing electronic and print content to schools and libraries. This grew into the premiere reference source for pre-selected Web site collections, and in 2004 WEB FEET was sold to Thomson Gale. Rock Hill Works continues to provide support to the product line.

Rock Hill Press is now developing new electronic products and special edition books focused on dogs, birds, fishing, and country living.
